Breaking: UFC Copenhagen – Marc Diakiese vs Lando Vannata

Sources confirm that the UFC is working on an exciting Lightweight fight between Marc “Bonecrusher” Diakiese and “Groovy” Lando Vannata at UFC Copenhagen in Denmark on September 28th.

The exciting superstar Diakiese, got back in the win column in phenomenal fashion back in March when he put on a dominating performance against Joe Duffy who is regarded as a top fighter in the division himself.

Diakiese is 4-3 in the UFC right now but all three losses have come to extremely solid competition. Diakiese has an amazing team surrounding him at AVT in Leeds, England with UFC veteran Danny Mitchell and KSW World Middleweight Champion Scott Askham, just to name a couple. Diakiese is one of the best fighters to watch in the UFC due to his variety of weaponry in his striking arsenal, his one-punch knockout power and his solid wrestling base too.

On the opposite side of the cage is the owner of FOUR performance of the night awards [from a total of seven fights], Lando Vannata. Vannata has a strange record in the UFC with two wins, three losses and two draws but his talent is absolutely undeniable and he’s never in a dull fight. There’s a reason the UFC gave him a new contract and want to keep him around.

Even as a NCAA Division I wrestler, Vannata always prefers to keep his fights on the feet with a ton of volume and using his wild striking arsenal. Diakiese on the other hand is a very similar striker with a plethora of ‘flashy’ attacks. Along with their elusive striking games, both men have power and both have solid fundimentals too. This fight is going to be exciting!

There are seven performance of the night awards between these two fighters. Will this fight increase that total to 8?
