UFC 231 Announcement: Aleksandar Rakic vs Devin Clark

The UFC has officially announced that Heavy Duty fighter and Light Heavyweight prospect Aleksandar Rakic will fight Devin Clark at UFC 231 in Toronto, Canada on December 8th.

The UFC Light Heavyweight record breaker Aleksandar Rakic will be fighting the well-rounded Jackson-Wink fighter, Devin Clark, who only has 1 loss at Light Heavyweight in the UFC to #4 ranked Jan Blachowicz.

Rakic is currently 10-1 after UFC Hamburg where he absolutely dominated an extremely game opponent in Justin Ledet. Rakic won that fight on the judges scorecards 30-25, 30-24 and 30-24 which is just extraordinary. Rakic also broke the record at Light Heavyweight for the largest strike differential in a single fight at +235 strikes (263 to 28). If people hadn’t heard of the Austrian fighter then, they certainly know his name now!

Devin Clark on the other hand is 3-2 in the UFC (3-1 at Light Heavyweight) with the 2 losses coming against Alex Nicholson, who now fights at Heavyweight and a fight that he was winning until the flash KO. And the second loss was against Jan Blachowicz who is a legit #4 ranked fighter in the division. This will be no easy task for Rakic. Clark is at a great MMA gym and has a very well-rounded game with his background specialising in wrestling.

This fight is definitely one to watch. Can Rakic nullify Clark’s wrestling game and put him away on the feet or will Clark reign supreme and put Rakic flat on his back throughout 3 rounds?
