UFC Hamburg Announcement: Aleksandar Rakic vs Justin Ledet
A UFC Light Heavyweight bout is in the works with prospect Aleksandar Rakic due to fight Justin Ledet at UFC Hamburg on 22nd July 2018. (per Jim Edwards – MMANytt)
The aggressive Austrian knockout artist will be squaring off against another young prospect in the UFC, Justin Ledet, who will be making his Light Heavyweight debut after making the decision to move down a weight class from the Heavyweight division.
Rakic is currently 9-1 with 7 of those wins coming via knockout and 5 of those coming in the very first round. He is a naturally solid striker that packs unbelievable power in both hands.
After an absolutely clinical performance from Rakic last time out in his UFC debut he was due to fight another one of the division’s top prospects in Gadzhimurad Antigulov back in February but injuries to both fighters forced the fight to be cancelled. But now he is scheduled to fight Ledet in what will be an extremely high level MMA fight that has a very good chance of earning the Fight Of The Night award.
Justin Ledet is unbeaten and is 3-0 in the UFC. He comes from a boxing background and is one of the more pure boxers in the Light Heavyweight division. But he is a mixed martial artist and is very crafty on the mat too with good BJJ.
This fight genuinely should not be missed, will Aleksandar Rakic take Ledet’s 0?
